Life of a coin

From New Moon to Full Moon

Every coin rides the same curve: created, bonded under its max per wallet, graduated when the curve fills, then traded on Project X. The markers along the curve show how much HYPE it has raised by then.
  1. Creation. The creator registers the ticker, name and image and selects the maximum allocation per wallet (1%, 2%, or 3%).
  2. Bonding curve. Trading takes place on the curve. The allocation limit and the 5% excess tax apply throughout this phase. 793,100,000 tokens are sold on the curve.
  3. Graduation. When the curve sells out (about 127 HYPE), the coin graduates automatically: what it raised, less the 0.02 HYPE migration fee, and its remaining tokens open a pool on Project X at the curve's last price, and 100% of that liquidity is locked forever.
  4. After graduation. The coin trades in its pool, with no per-wallet limit. The fee schedule changes as described in Trading fees.
