Stars are points earned through real usage of the platform. Users earn Stars by:

• Creating coins
• Bonding and graduating coins
• Paying trading fees
• Holding time

#Calculation

The exact formula is intentionally not published. Its purpose is to reduce farming and wash activity. What is stated:

• Stars reflect activity that costs something or carries risk, such as fees paid and time held, rather than raw transaction counts.
• Activity between wallets that appear linked may be discounted or excluded.
• The formula may be adjusted over time to respond to abuse. Changes apply going forward.

#Status of Stars

Stars are points that measure use of Mooner. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and are not a claim on any asset, token or revenue. Mooner makes no promise that Stars will ever be exchangeable for anything.
